Can anyone tell me how to date my engine please?
It is a Villiers 4-stroke petrol engine Serial Number: 351B 59075 Mk12 H/S

I know that the letter in the serial no is a date code but I dont have a
year list.

I didn't know that. If anyone out there has got a list I'd be interested as
well to enable me to date the Danish gen set.

Not a dating list but don't forget Villiers model information can be found
at the Wolverhampton Museum site.

I am always willing to push this site as I find it the most enjoyable on the web

If it's a date letter then may I put forward 1958. Way back in 1987
Villiers dated my Mk12 (S/N 130B/85872) as having been manufactured on July
9th 1958.
